Return of the Drizzle Season!
It’s been an eventful year since the last drizzle season, and this anniversary has brought with it plenty of surprises! Two new stages ripe for inking have been opened up - turf war enthusiasts are now able to duke it out at the dizzying heights of Crableg Capital… and with the blessing of Shipshape Cargo Co, in the middle of the ocean! If you intend to freshen up your arsenal in preparation, Sheldon will be more than happy to inform you of his fantastic new weapon stock - including his own creation, the Gold Dynamo Roller! Amongst these additions is the terrifyingly potent Heavy Edit Splatling. If you don't plan to use it yourself, watch your back for those who do.

We're all warmly awaiting the next Splatfest to determine who is the true leader of Deep cut, but before we can begin festivities there is an important matter to be adressed first - one my coworker is more qualified to inform you of...

Salmon Watch EMERGENCY ALERT: BIG RUN

Hello once again. As forecast, there has indeed been another invasion, this time targeting the Um'ami ruins. One can only speculate what business they have there - my personal theory is they are seeking an ancient artefact. Perhaps for their ancestral ties, untold power, or to offer up to their leaders as tribute.

Per standard protocol, only Grizzco employees may enter the area. Turf wars have been postponed. Tourists and students who made bookings to visit have been offered new placements in the future or full refunds. It is anticipated that the area may still be closed for repairs even after the invasion.

To the brave (or perhaps foolish) souls at Grizzco: New inkable walls were hastily installed to aid you. Take advantage of them to maintain the high ground and avoid being cornered. Grizzco Dualies may be powerful and I've noticed many find them fun to use, but it should be noted they can also get you drowned or cornered if you don't plan your rolls and go in with reckless abandon. Please think before you charge in. Splatsville is counting on you all to drive the salmonids back - especially since there is an upcoming splatfest. Hope you'll still be around for the next issue.
